    It’s been a long time coming, but Chris Paine’s 2011 feature documentary film Revenge of the Electric Car, a fascinating behind the scenes peek at Tesla, Nissan and Chevrolet as they race to launch ground-breaking plug-in cars, is finally coming to screens in the UK. And to mark the occasion, YouTues this week has a clip from the film showing how Tesla’s Elon Musk is “as close as you can get to a real life Tony Stark” (a.k.a. ‘Iron Man’).

  • Dutch electric car drivers “will never be stranded”

    Nissan has taken the wraps off the first of 400 new rapid chargers for electric cars to be installed across Europe, with a view to thousands being rolled out over the next few years. Detroit News reports that initially, forty units will be installed in Holland, with France also getting forty chargers.

  • Nissan LEAFs deployed in four Scottish authorities

    Four local authorities in Scotland have invested in 12 Nissan LEAFs with the help of a grant from Transport Scotland. They include NHS Tayside, Dundee City Council, Perth & Kinross Council and Dumfries and Galloway Council.
